Relaxing Days in Alacati with La Vela Boutique Hotel

Herkese merhabalar! Su an yumusacik bir battaniyeyle penceremin önünde oturuyorum ve bahcemin beyaza bürünmesini izliyorum. Dün aksamdan beri araliksiz kar yagiyor. Görüntüsü güzel elbet, ama ben sogugu ve kisi hic sevmiyorum ve Marakes'ten döndügüm icin sanki biraz pisman gibiyim. Bildiginiz gibi gecen hafta bu soguklardan biraz uzaklasmak icin Fas'a gitmistim, ancak o seyahatin detaylarindan farkli bir yazida bahsedecegim. Öncesinde fazlasiyla gecikmis olan bu yaziyi yayinlamak istedim. Izmir'de yasarken Alacati'ya yaz kis dinlemeden en az iki haftada bir giderdik. Alacati'nin yeri bende apayri bu yüzden ve hala her yaz birkac günlügüne de olsa giderim. Son tatilimde cok tatli bir otelde kaldim, bugün ondan bahsetmek istiyorum. 

Hi everyone! Currently I am sitting cuddled up in a warm blanket in front of my window and watching how everything gets covered up in white - it's snowing. I like the snowy scenery, but I am not that kind of person who likes winter and the cold days. So I regret a little that I have come back from warm Morocco. About the details of my Marrakech trip, I'll tell you in another post! But now back to today's topic... In my summer holidays I went to Alacati. Each year I spend a few days there, it is like opening the summer season for me and when I lived in Izmir, we went there like every two weeks! So it means a lot to me. In today's post, I will tell you about my amazing stay there the last time and show you the cute boutique hotel we stayed at. 

Öncelikle daha önce hic Alacati'ya gitmemis olanlara birkac kisa genel bilgi vermek istiyorum. Alacati, Izmir'in Cesme ilcesine bagli bir mahalledir, dolayisiyla Ege Denizi'ne kiyisi bulunmaktadir ve harika bir tatil yeridir. Tas evleriyle ve renkli butik otelleriyle meshur olan Alacati'yi "sosyetik" bir köy olarak düsünebilirsiniz. Ulasim cok basit, Izmir merkezden aracla yaklasik 45 dakika sürüyor. Dilerseniz kendi aracinizla, dilerseniz de Cesme Seyahat'in otobüsleriyle kolayca ulasabilirsiniz.

Alacati is a small village located in Cesme, a district of Izmir (Turkey) on the Aegean coast. It is famous for its cute stone houses and colorful boutique hotels and the proximity to the most famous beaches of Cesme. Alacati is only 45 minutes far from Izmir center by car. You can get there also by the busses of Cesme Seyahat.

Alacati'daki günlerimizi La Vela Butik Otel'de gecirmeye karar verdik. Otele girdigimiz an bizi sicacik bir atmosfer karsiladi. Ilk dakikadan itibaren fark ettim, burada detaylara inanilmaz özen gösterilmis, dekorasyon icin cok sirin ve tatli elementler kullanilmis. Otelin sahipleri, sevgili Monica ve Bertan, bizi hemen tüm samimiyetleriyle karsiladi. O kadar tatli bir cift ki, burada sanki arkadaslarimizin evine misafirlige gelmis gibiydik! Kaldigimiz süre boyunca hic yabancilik cekmedik, ortam hep samimi ve sicakti.

As our accommodation, we had chosen the La Vela Boutique Hotel. When we arrived there, we immediately noticed the warm and cordial atmosphere. The entrance of the hotel was decorated with so many cute details that we fall in love with them right away. We were welcomed very warmly by the hotel owners Monica and Bertan, they were just so friendly and we were happy to meet them - such a cute couple! During our whole stay they were always absolutely attentive and kind.

Check-in islemimizi tamamladiktan sonra, odamiz gösterilmek üzere üst kata ciktik. Ben adeta bir tas ev hayraniyim, o kadar cok seviyorum ki evlerdeki dogalligi - odamizin kapisi acildigi an kalbim büyüdü! Odanin konforunun yani sira, görüntüsü bile insana huzur veriyordu. Odada kullanilan renklere ve dekorasyonuna hayran kaldim. Göz zevkimize hitap eden bu tertemiz, sade ve duru görüntülü oda, ayrica cok da konforluydu. Yatagimiz inanilmaz rahatti ve cok güzel dinlenebildik burada. Ayrica banyosu da cok hijyenikti, biz hicbir kusur bulamadik.

After checking in, we were guided to our room. I really adore stone houses so I was impressed right away when the door was opened. It looked so cozy and cute inside! The stone walls, the large comfy bed, the colors and the decoration - everything was so beautiful. Our bed was also very comfortable and cozy, so we had the chance to relax. The bathroom provided everything you may need and was absolutely clean. 

Odamiza ait bir de genis bir balkon bulunmaktaydi. Burada da detaylara özen gösterilmis ve sirin bir dekorasyonla "evim" hissi yaratilmis. Balkonumuzun manzarasi otelin havuzlu bahcesine bakiyordu. Biz burada özellikle aksamlari oturmaktan inanilmaz keyif aldik!

Our room featured also a spacious balcony. It was so cute that it gave us the feeling of being home. Our balcony was facing the hotel's garden which also provided a pool. It was super relaxing sitting on the loungers there and enjoying that view!

Odamiza yerlestikten sonra, otelin bahcesine indik. Bizim icin highlight bu oldu! O kadar güzel ki terasi, havuzu, bahcesi - "burasi keske evim olsa" dedirtti bana. Biz bahcenin keyfini cikartirken, sevgili Monica bizim icin atistirmalik hazirlamisti, bunu da afiyetle yedik. 

But my personal highlight was the garden! The patio, the pool, the plants... everything made me think "this could be my home!" While we were enjoying the sunny weather in the garden, Monica prepared a snack for us and it was really delicious. 

Bahcesi benim icin adeta bir cennetti. Ben cok detayci bir insanim, ve bir mekanin detaylara inanilmaz özen göstermesi beni benden alir her zaman. Burada da öyle oldu. O kadar güzel düsünülmüs ve insa edilmis ki burasi, benim tarzima cok hitap etti dogrusu. Ayrica cok da fotojenik! Instagram'da illaki paylasimlarimi görmüssünüzdür. 

In this hotel, they paid great attention on details and that's what I like most about decoration. I love to be impressed by the smallest details and really enjoyed discovering cute spots at La Vela. Also the hotel is absolutely photogenic, don't you think so? You may already have seen some photos I took and posted on Instagram. 

Havuz basinda kahvalti benim en sevdigim. La Vela'da da kahvalti otelin terasinda/bahcesinde servis ediliyor ve masaniza serpme kahvalti seklinde geliyor. Her sey cok taze ve lezzetliydi, tam bir "köy kahvaltisi" gibi. Ayrica sunumun sirinligine bakar misiniz?

For me, it is a blessing having breakfast by the pool. At La Vela, the breakfast was served at the terrace and included everything imaginable. Who would ever say no to a fresh and healthy breakfast by the pool? Everything was prepared in a delicate way and was super tasty - especially the jams!

La Vela'da cok keyifli ve güzel vakit gecirdik. Her seyiyle dört dörtlük bir oteldi, ve bundan sonra Alacati'ya gidecegimde kesinlikle ilk duragim olacak. Otelin konumu, konforu, servisi, her seyiyle mükemmeldi, bu yüzden Alacati'da tatil yapmak isteyenlere konaklama olarak gönül rahatligiyla tavsiye edebilirim. Sevgili Monica ve esi Bertan, sizi eminim cok güzel bir sekilde agirlayacaklardir. O kadar tatli ve samimiler ki, biz burada kesinlikle yabanci hissetmedik. Dedigim gibi, sanki arkadaslarimizin evine misafirlige gelmisiz gibi - öylesine sicak ve samimi bir ortamdi.
