January Update: Sheet Masks, Organization & Stuff

Herkese merhabalar! Yilin ilk aylik güncellemesiyle karsinizdayim ve son haftalarda yine sizinle paylasmak istedigim birkac sey birikti, onlari bu yazida birlikte inceleyecegiz ve neler yapmisim, neleri sevmisim, neler izlemisim görecegiz. Hadi baslayalim! :)

Hi everyone! I'm back with a new update post - it's the first one this year so I am a little excited. In this post I want to tell you about how my January looked like and show you some interesting products I loved and also some super cool tv series. So stay tuned! :)

COSMETICS

Kozmetik anlaminda bu ay bir yeni kesfim var, o da Missha'nin kagit maskeleri. Sanirim hayatimda kullandigim en iyi kagit maske bunlar - yapisi, etkisi, her seyiyle harika. Ben özellikle Pore Control (AHA, BHA) ve Intensive Moisturizing (Hyaluronic Acid)'i begendim ve kullanmaya kesinlikle devam edecegim. Yüzü inanilmaz pürüzsüz ve yumusacik yapiyorlar. Hatta en son maskede fazla gelen serumu ellerime de uyguluyorum yumusacik oluyor.

Let's talk about cosmetics first. This month I've tried the sheet masks from Missha for the first time and fell in loooove! Omg - never tried such a good sheet mask before, they make my skin feel absolutely smooth, moisturize it and let it look more luminous. I especially love the Pore Control (AHA, BHA) and Intensive Moisturizing (Hyaluronic Acid) masks and can absolutely recommend them. 

Araliksiz kullanmaya devam ettigim iki ürün de M2 Beauté Eyelash Activating Serum (kirpik serumu) ve M2 Beauté Eyebrow Renewing Serum (kas serumu). Bu ürünleri kullanmaya basladigimdan gecen ayki update yazimda bahsetmistim. Ürünler, 6-8 haftalik kullanimdan sonra etkisini göstermeyi vaat ediyordu. Ben de su an 6. haftanin icindeyim ve ufak ufak belli olmaya basladi. Kirpiklerim gercekten gecen aya göre daha uzun. Kaslarim da dolmaya basladi ve aldigim yerden hizli uzuyor. Ancak daha önce hic kasim olmayan yerden yeni tüy cikarmadi yani, kil kökü olan yerlerden cikiyor bunu da belirteyim. Kullanmaya kesinlikle devam edecegim, sonucunu cok merak ediyorum ben de. Bakalim, umarim biraz daha uzar kirpiklerim, simdilik cok iyi gidiyor. :)

In my December update I already told about the new eyelash and eyebrow serums I started to use: M2 Beauté Eyelash Activating Serum and M2 Beauté Eyebrow Renewing Serum. I am using them now for 6 weeks and can already see a difference. My lashes have become longer and my eyebrows seem to look fuller and thicker. But I'll continue using them since it is said that you can see a difference after 6-8 weeks. Of course, I will let you know about the final results. But for now, it is going pretty good. :)

FASHION PIECES & ACCESSORIES

Özellikle bu ay Kapten&Son Chrono Silver Steel saatimi cok fazla kullandim. Biliyorsunuz, benim klasigim aslinda Campina Mesh modeli, ancak yeni cikan Chrono modellerini de inanilmaz begendim. Söz konusu saat olunca bende akan sular durur, zaten saatler isimin de bir parcasi :). Ilginizi cekerse saat koleksiyonuma iliskin ayri bir yazi hazirlayabilirim, isteyip istemediginizi yorum kisminda belirtirseniz sevinirim. Böylece hangi saatleri begendigimi tek bir yazida toparlamis oluruz ve saat almak isteyenler icin bir fikir sunmus olurum.

I have worn my Kapten&Son Chrono Silver Steel very often this month. I really love the new Chrono collection and also the black ones - they look absolutely classy. Fotograftaki kazagi da cok sık giydim bu ay. Biliyorsunuz, büyüüüük kazaklari cok severim. Bunu da Pull&Bear'in indiriminden almistim. Farkli renkleri de vardi bu arada, onlar da cok güzel.

The knit sweater in this picture is from Pull&Bear. I love ovesized sweaters so much that I have worn this one really often in the past weeks.

LIFESTYLE

Beni taniyanlar ve cok uzun zamandir takip edenler bilir; ben planner delisiyim ve bu konuda oldukca özenliyim. Bu bir aliskanlik aslinda, yani her yil sonunda yeni yil icin bir ajanda alip onu hazirlamak, yeni yila dair ufak tefek planlar yapmak bir ritüel benim icin. Bu yil icin sectigim ajandam Jo & Judy Pocket Planner. 12x16cm ebatlariyla önceki kullandigim ajandalara göre epey ufak, benim normalde tercih ettigim boyut A5. Ancak A5 plannerlari, cantada cok fazla yer kapladigi icin yanimda tasiyamiyorum. Zaten kücük cantalar kullaniyorum, o yüzden A5 boyutu pratik gelmemeye basladi ben de bu sene tercihimi biraz kücük bir ajandadan yana kullandim ve bu oldu. Cok cok memnunum bu ajandadan ve severek kullaniyorum. Bu arada ilginizi ceker mi bilmem, ama ben mesela bu tarz ajandalara bile 'bullet journal' gibi isime yarayacak sayfalar ekliyorum ve diledigim gibi dekore ediyorum. Bununla ilgili neler yaptigimi merak ediyorsaniz yorum kisminda belirtebilirsiniz, ayri bir yazida anlatabilirim. :)

The ones who follow me now for a long time may know, that I am obsessed with planners. It is like a ritual for me to choose a new planner for the new year and prepare and decorate it with anything I may need. I am used to A5 planners, but since they take too much space in my purse I always leave them at home. So for 2018, I decided to take a pocket size planner and in this case my choice was the Jo & Judy Pocket Planner. I am absolutely in love with it, it is so beautiful and really my style of planning with all its monthly and weekly overviews. I am also adding some customized sections in my planner and personalize it like a 'bullet journal'. Bir diger cok sevdigim sey ise kisisellestirilmis Dein Design telefon kilifim oldu. Bu kilif bana onlarin hediyesi oldu. Kilif inanilmaz kaliteli ve üzerindeki fotografa da zaten ne söyleyeyim, benim Marakes'te cekilmis en sevdigim resimlerimden. O yüzden kullanmayi ve gördükce o seyahatimi hatirlamayi cok sevdim. Eger ilginizi cekerse siz de Dein Design'in sitesinde kendi resimlerinizle kiliflarinizi olusturabilirsiniz. Cevremdeki insanlar da cok begendi ve sürekli buna iliskin sorular aldim. Another love in this month is my new personalized phone case from Dein Design. I am so in love with it!!! Anytime I hold it in my hand and see the picture on it, I remember my amazing stay in Marrakech. Bu ay yeni kesfettigim ve son birkac gündür gece gündüz ictigim ve bagimlisi oldugum cay ise seftali cayi. Of o kadar güzel ki anlatamam. Ice-tea gibi, sadece sicak hali. Cooook seviyorum, hatta bu yaziyi yazarken yine iciyorum <3.

Recently I bought this peach tea and am obsessed with it. I love love love this tea, it tastes sweet/fruity and is absolutely delicious. Big love <3.

TV SHOWS

Gelelim dizilere. Gecen ayin sonunda basladigim Dark dizisini bitirdim ve cok sevdim. Stranger Things'i seviyorsaniz, Dark'i da kesinlikle seversiniz. Benzerlik var biraz, ancak konusu yine de farkli. Gizem türü oldugu icin konusundan bahsetsem hemen spoiler vermis olurum, o yüzden sadece izleyin demekle yetinecegim. Ben ikinci sezonunu dört gözle bekliyorum. :)

Last month I've started watching the tv show Dark and finished it recently. If you like Stranger Things, you'll probably like Dark, too. They are similar though the stories are different. I don't want to spoil you so just watch it - biiiig recommendation! Can't wait for the second season to start! :)

Bir diger dizi de tabii ki Black Mirror 4. Sezon. Bana göre gelmis gecmis en iyi dizi acik ara Black Mirror, özellikle 3. sezonu beni benden almisti. O yüzden yeni sezondan beklentim cok yüksekti - ve maalesef hayal kirikligina ugradim. Yani söyle diyim, diger dizilerle kiyaslandiginda 4. sezon yine olaganüstü, ancak kendi icinde önceki sezonlariyla kiyaslandiginda bu sefer beni biraz hayal kirikligina ugrattigi acikcasi. 3. sezon kadar basarili bulmadim. Yine de tavsiye ederim.

Of course I've watched Black Mirror Season 4. Black Mirror is my favorite tv show, especially the 3rd season was my personal highlight. But I had high expectations so unfortunately I must say that the 4th season disappointed me a little. Comparing Black Mirror season 4 to all the other tv shows, it is still great, but compared to its past seasons, it was low. Nevertheless, I can recommend it.

Henüz yeni izlemeye basladigim bir dizi de La Mante. Kisaca konusu su: 25 yil önce bir seri katilin isledigi cinayetleri taklit eden birisi cikiyor ortaya ve polis, bu taklitciyi bulmak icin cinayetlerinden esinlendigi tutuklu katilden yardim istiyor. Devamini ben de henüz bilmiyorum bitirmedigim icin, ancak konusu epey ilginc ve dizi cok sürükleyici ilerliyor. Zaten 6 bölümden olusan bir mini dizi, önümüzdeki günlerde bitiririm ben de.

My current tv show is La Mante. I've started watching it last week and must say that it has an interesting story. It has only 6 episodes so I think that I will finish it this week and am already curious about what will happen in the final episode. 

MUSIC

THOUGHTS & PLANS

Gelelim düsüncelerime ve planlarima. Bu ay icin ders calismaktan baska bir planim kalmadi acikcasi. Geri kalan günlerde kendimi derslerime verecegim ve kalin hukuk kitaplarimin icine gömülecegim. Bu süre zarfinda, anlayacaginiz üzere, sosyal medyada cok fazla aktif olamayacagim maalesef. Subat'in ilk haftasinda sinavlarim var, ondan sonra Istanbul'a gidiyorum. Sonrasinda ise beni yogun tempolu bir sene bekliyor. Simdiden 14 tane ucak bileti aldim - saka degil :D. Üstelik bunlar sadece Mayis'a kadar olanlar. Ilginc destinasyonlar var, simdiden söyleyeyim. Yeniliklerden haberdar olmak icin beni sosyal medya hesaplarimdan (@eylmbc) takip etmeyi unutmayin. Ayrica blogta yayinlanmasini istediginiz konulari da belirtirseniz sevinirim. :)

Last but not least: my thoughts and plans. Actually I don't have any cool plans for this month anymore. In the first week of February, I have my exams at the university so I have to study hard in the next 2 weeks. That's the reason why I can't be so active on social media, too. After my exams, life will be much better for me. I'll go to Istanbul and then the busy days will follow. I have already booked 14 flights - no, I'm not kidding. :D And those are only the ones until May. So stay tuned for some interesting destinations!
