Random Facts About Me - Part 4

Uzuuuun bir aradan sonra yeniden merhaba! Biliyorum çok uzun bir sessizlik oldu bu blogumda, ancak Instagram'da hep aktiftim ve beni oradan da takip edenler bu aylar içinde neler yaptığımı zaten biliyorlar: seyahat ettim. Hello again! Oh my gosh, it has been quite a long time since I published a blog post. But the ones who follow me on Instagram actually know about what I was doing during the past couple of months: traveling. From Bangkok to Bali, to Santorini and more - I really visited some interesting places. Stay tuned for the upcoming travel posts here! I really love reading personal stuff on blogs. They are quite amusing and help to get to know the person better. Also I got so many nice feedback about my "Facts About Me" series on my blog, so that I decided to publish part 4 today. If you still have not read the first 3 parts, you can do it here, here and here. Now back to 10 new random facts about me...

1. 
Yatağımın üzerine dışarıda giyilen kıyafetle oturulmasına gıcık oluyorum. Bu beni gerçekten en huzursuz eden şeylerden biri ve hemen çarşafları değiştirmek istiyorum. 😆

I really really can't stand when someone sits down on my bed with jeans or anything the person wears outside. It's like a headshot and I immediately want to change the linen. Weirdoooo. 😆

2. 
Seyahat etmek benim için bir aktivite veya tatil değil, yaşam stili.

Traveling is not an activity or a vacation for me, it's a lifestyle.

3. 
Bu yüzden kendimi hiçbir yere, hiçbir şeye ait hissetmiyorum. İçimde hep uzaklara özlem var.

That's why I think I belong to no specific place, the whole world is my home somehow.

Küçükken (5-6 yaşlarında) gece pencerenin önüne geçip ayı izlerdim. Birincisi aya "aydede" derdim, ikincisi de onun her akşam bir dağın üstüne indiğini ve oradan işçi aldığını düşünürdüm. Ay aslında bir fabrikaymış ve içinde çalışanlar bütün gece peynir üretirmiş. Hayal gücüm nirvana. 😂

When I was a kid (maybe 5 or 6 years old) I sat down in front of the window in the night and watched the moon. First of all, I called the moon "grandpa moon", and the most weird fact: I thought that the moon came down on a mountain in the evening and picked up some worker who worked inside the moon the whole night and manufactured cheese. Don't ask anything please, my imagination was obviously limitless. 😂

Ayrıca küçükken yaptığım bir diğer şey de ağaç yapraklarının içini kumla doldurup sarma yapmaktı. İşin kötü yanı, bunları diğer çocuklara yediriyor olmamdı. Şimdi beni gördüklerinde yollarını değiştiriyorlar zamanında kumlu sarma yedirdiğim insanlar... bir de sarma yapma cevherinden tabii zamanla eser kalmadı. 😄

Another weird childhood memory: As a child, I loved stuffed grape leaves - so yummy! So I tried to make some in the sandbox with leaves... and stuffed them with sand... and served them to the other kids who had to eat them up. No worries, they are still alive. I admit that I was kinda strange kid. 😄

6. 
En sevdiğim aksesuar güneş gözlüğü ve saat.

My favorite accessories are sunglasses and watches.

7. 
Ne eleştirileri, ne övgüleri çok fazla önemserim. Eleştirildiğim için keyfim kaçmaz, övüldüğüm için de egom tatmin olmaz. Kısacası onaylanma gibi bir ihtiyacım yok. Ben kendi doğrumu yaşarım, ve bunun için açıklama yapma gereği duymam. Bu noktaya ulaşabildiğim için mutluyum.

I actually don't care about criticism and praise. Neither criticism does have any negative effects on me, nor praise does push my ego. I don't feel the need for confirmation in any way. I live my life the way I want to and don't have to justify my acts. And I am absolutely happy that I feel like this.

8. 
Kendimde sevmediğim bir özellik: dengesizliğim. Bir anda kararım değişebiliyor, bu birçok kez beni zor duruma soktu. :D

A characteristic I don't like about me: I can change my decisions or thoughts really quickly. 

9. 
Seyahat etmenin bana ögrettiği en güzel şeylerden biri: Evimizdeki bunca eşyaya aslında İHTİYACIMIZ YOK. Tek bir bavula sığdırdığı özel eşyalarıyla uzuuuuun bir süre yaşayabilir insan.

One of the great lessons traveling has taught me: We actually DON'T NEED all the stuff we store in our apartment. It's possible to live out of a suitcase for a long looong time.

10.
Son olarak... gerçeğim siyah beyaz gerisi yalan, emanetim onurum armağanımdır arman!

Last but not least... "gercegim siyah beyaz gerisi yalan, emanetim onurum armaganimdir arman!" (it's a football anthem btw)
